Documents for Science On a Sphere®

The material for Science On a Sphere® is always growing! There are three main categories for SOS written material: Documentation, Site Requirements, and System Usage.

Documentation contains all of the material for the datasets available for Science On a Sphere®. This includes descriptions of the available datasets in the data catalog, instructions on how to create datasets, lesson plans on how to teach using Science On a Sphere datasets, and an educational evaluation of SOS at the Maryland Science Center.

Site Requirements has everything that is important to understand before purchasing Science On a Sphere®. Many new questions arise when a Science On a Sphere® system is purchased, therefore, several helpful documents about what to expect during installation can also be found here.

Once Science On a Sphere® is installed and operational, the System Usage documents are useful for utilizing the system to its fullest capacity. Use these materials to learn how to control the system, make and edit playlists, and find sought-after answers in either the User's Manual or the helpful FAQs.

Other helpful places to look for information are the About and the Support pages. If questions persist, check out the the user support forum or contact the Science On a Sphere® group.
